365 days of care.. an initiative to fight breast cancer
Today, the activities of the “365 Days of Care” initiative begin under the auspices of “Bloom Nutrition Clinics” in cooperation with “Bahia Hospital”, and these activities will continue from this month of October to October 2022.
For her part, Dr. Sherry Nabil, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Kasr Al-Aini and founder of the “Bloom Nutrition” clinics, confirmed that a woman out of every 8 women gets breast cancer, and not only is the cause of inherited genes that do not exceed 15% of the causes of the disease, but improper nutrition and lack of Movement and stress are one of the most important causes of cancer.
Nabil said that the initiative is based on three important axes to fight breast cancer, the first of which is prevention in general and early detection to reduce the chances of contracting the disease, and this has been confirmed by studies that from 80 to 90% of cases do not contract the disease in the case of prevention and early detection.
The second axis, and the most important in this initiative, is proper nutrition and functional medicine with breast cancer patients while receiving chemotherapy and radiation sessions. As for the third axis, which is no less important than what preceded it, is extending the experience to each woman after her recovery in how to manage her life in a healthy way and deal with psychological crises – which It is considered one of the most important causes of cancer – to ensure that the disease does not return to it again.
Nabil described this initiative as one of the most important means of community support, which is carried out through free cases that are nominated by Baheya Hospital, and also through seminars and awareness campaigns that will be held monthly, as these events also include how to deal with diets with a global protocol to raise immunity in the family In addition to the “promo code” provided by “Bloom Nutrition” clinics, which is used by clinic clients, as it is for the benefit of Baheya Hospital patients.
